Consideration for High Threat Security Employment

It’s common knowledge that overseas security work in hostile environments typically pays  more than ‘low threat’ domestic jobs. Candidates seeking overseas employment as armed security contractors supporting conventional military forces must meet strict government mandated eligibility requirements for hire.

Hostile Control Tactics will not hire persons who:

  • Fail to pass pre-deployment training or background check screening

  • Fail to pass physical fitness exercise readiness standards

  • Fail to pass firearms proficiency standards

  • Fail to pass a background investigation or misrepresent their credentials, work experience or education

  • Fail to demonstrate professional judgement, maturity and an ideal temperament for employ-ability.


Training vs Recruitment 

  • HCT does not promise or guarantee employment on the condition that person simply complete one of our security training courses. We never have and never will. Before an offer of employment is made a background check, medical health assessment, reference checks s and other factors are completed and considered. This screening process is normal and should be expected when applying for any job.

  • HCT will never ask for  a placement fee, hiring fee, or money to speed up the hiring process. Beware of any overseas entity who advertises otherwise.
